Making Maps & Bitcoin Donations

Heyooo,

We are making progress, and some maps in the process as well. Here's what it looks like.

We are also opening up a Bitcoin address and are currently accepting all of your Donations to further this project. Hopefully we will come up with a more decent plan to accept bitcoin apart from donations. For all BTC donations above 0.01 BTC Please send us a message with the amount of bitcoin you have sent and the address you have sent it from and we will make a thank you map for you. Improved Generators & Fixed Share Bug - Android v2.5.36 & iOS v2.5.36

Here we are again with another update release! This time we're releasing the v2.5.36 for both Android & iOS. (Disclaimer: iOS build usually arrives a bit later. Thank you for your patience.)

Just to give you the headlines: We fixed some bugs that had to do with Share functionality that helps you share maps on our subreddit r/ProDnDMaps. While that happened Eylul brought some amazing improvements on the Stick Biome Generator. There's a .gif below and you can see a more detailed post about how she did it all at her blog.

Check out all three different types of sticks!
Read more about this here.

We are aware some of you are still waiting for a bug fix on some store items not unlocking in the Store. We've attempted to patch this fix but this only helped some of you. We've realized that we needed to refactor and rewrite the code chunk that belongs to the store and fix this problem for once and all. Good news is we've already started this process and the fix is on the way. I'd like to add we much appreciate your patience regarding this matter.

See you on the next update!

Android v2.5.34 & iOS v2.5.34 Update Release: Improving Generators & Fixing Store Bugs

Hi y'all,

We're having an extremely busy schedule as we get used to releasing simultaneous updates for both Android and iOS. The releases should be available soon after this post.

Let's get to what's new on the updates:
  1. Fixed a bug that failed to unlock Starter Set.
  2. Fixed a bug where a duplicate file was created for the store credentials.
  3. Fixed a bug where the Round Room Generator had a broken connection algorithm.
  4. Fixed the bug where a locked item was not storing the currently selected item.
  5. Fixed the bug where pop-up windows buttons were not working as intended.
  6. Removed the Restore Purchases button for Android users only. Purchases will restore properly by themselves from now on. (If they don't please e-mail us here.)
  7. Improved the Rocky Hill Generator with new parameters and fixed parameters that didn't scale correctly to the size of the map.
  8. Feel free to find a more detailed log here: Android iOS.
Here's a bonus gif of the updated Rocky Hill Generator.

If you like this gif you can take a look at Eylul's blog here where she walks you through her progress in improving the Rocky Hill Generator and more!

Finally a big thanks to our users Andrea, Francesco and Wilson for supplying detailed reports on various bugs.

  • Fixed an issue where the non-encrypted store history file was not deleted.
  • Dialogue text typos fixed.
  • Updated various UI panels.
  • Changed the splash screen

We hope to keep updates more frequent in the upcoming season. Watch out for holiday specials, our favorite time of the year to share the joy of RPG'ing with family and friends.

ProDnD iOS v2.5.21 is out & Android Update Incoming!

Hi everyone!

The Gray Lake team has released a big update for the iOS users last month. We know this took a long time but I’m happy to say we were able to deliver it after all. So you can go on ahead and enjoy ProDnD iOS v2.5.21.

Next up we got news regarding the Android version.

  1. We got the update build ready for tests and we will be conducting these before we can finally release it on the Google Play Store.
  2. We have received several complaints regarding the store not restoring purchases with offline devices. We were able to device a solution for this issue and will include it in the upcoming release for the Android.

Cheers!

Dev Update: HD Print, Props, Critters & More

Hi Everyone,

It has been a while since we updated the blog.

Since we are back on track with ProDnD we thought it would be best to start things up with an update.

Right to the news then:

HD PRINT:

We have released a HD print feature as a in-app purchasable. Admittedly it has some broken bits on which we are currently working. The fun part is that even though by mistake we made it unlocked by default we saw a lot of people actually purchased the iap. An interesting effect surely. We fixed the mishap swiftly and everything is back to normal.

HD print essentially lets you print your dungeon on multiple sheets of paper, defined by the user. It even tells you is square meters how big a room you need to display that many papers at once.

PROPS:

We are on the verge of releasing the PROPS. Objects that you can add on the map. Chairs, tables, chests, and such. It functions just like events and in the future we hope it will be a part of the CRITTERS feature where our little goblins and cockroaches open and close chests, camp near beds, deposit loot in chest rooms.

DECALS and PAINT:

This is the next step we are aiming for. A proper tiling method and adjunct PAINT capabilities which also encompass DECALS as in painting on blood stains, carpeting, mud, moss, all that variety. This may take some time as the list is backed up significantly already.

ETERNAL DISCOUNT

We irrevocably reduced our prices by nearly 30% to make ProDnD more available. What will happen next Xmas time I do not know.

CRITTERS:

I so want to make more critters for the dungeons. Unfortunately it will have to wait a while, at least until we get a bit more help with the programming.

HALLWAY WIDTH:

A big usability issue that we are aware of is the fact that all our corridors are one tile wide. This is being fixed, but will take a bit more time.

Hopefully we will get all of these in the field sooner than we hope. Much thanks to all our supporters. See you next time on the devblog.
